Ahkamul Quran Page

Definition & Scope Ahkamul Qur'an (literally "The Rulings of the Qur'an") refers to the subset of Qur'anic verses that contain legal injunctions ( ahkam ) governing human actions. Unlike the Qur'an's narratives, theological doctrines, or eschatological themes, these verses establish commands ( amr ), prohibitions ( nahy ), permissions ( ibahah ), and other legally relevant categories ( halal, haram, wajib, mandub, makruh ).
