Leo was quiet for a moment. "Did you try the secondary method? The 'Cloud Relay' wake-up?"
Arjun had checked everything twice before leaving Austin. In the Anydesk settings on his office PC, the "Wake-on-LAN" toggle was green. In the BIOS, "Wake on PCIe" was enabled. His network card properties in Windows had "Allow this device to wake the computer" checked. All the boxes were ticked. It should have worked.
"Can you fix it from home?" Arjun asked, his voice tight. anydesk wol not working
Then Arjun had a terrible, desperate idea. "What about the old way?"
But it didn't.
Leo answered on the fourth ring, voice groggy. "Arjun? It's midnight."
"Got it," he whispered.
Arjun let out a breath he didn't know he was holding. He clicked connect. The familiar Windows desktop appeared—a messy wallpaper of a mountain range and 47 unread Outlook notifications.
