The council of Piltover, led by the cold matriarch , demands justice. The enforcer Marcus is tasked with hunting down the “terrorists” from Zaun. Jayce, meanwhile, is nearly expelled for his dangerous magical experiments. He is saved by his partner, the brilliant and terminally ill scientist Viktor , and Mel herself, who sees Hextech as a weapon to secure Piltover’s future.

The two sisters are now enemies. The cities are at war. And nothing will ever be the same. End of Arcane Season 1.

Vi arrives. Jinx forces them all to play a deadly game. She sets her shimmer-powered pistol on the table and demands that Vi kill Caitlyn to prove her love. Vi refuses. Jinx becomes hysterical, her mind fracturing. She hallucinates Mylo mocking her. She screams that Vi only ever saw her as a “jinx.”

Meanwhile, Vi and Caitlyn recover and go to the council. Vi demands an army to invade Zaun and kill Silco. The council refuses—until Jayce, enraged by Silco’s attack on a Piltover shipyard, decides to take matters into his own hands. He builds a massive Hextech hammer. He and Vi lead a raid on a Shimmer factory. The raid is a success, but Vi is forced to spare Sevika when Jayce accidentally kills a Zaunite child in the chaos.

“I thought… maybe you could love me like you used to,” Jinx says. “Even though I’m… different. But you changed too.”

Vi learns of the deal and is furious. She leaves Caitlyn, sneaks back to Zaun, and confronts Silco in his office. She nearly kills him, but Sevika stops her. Vi is captured and brought before Silco. Silco mocks her: “You think you can save her? You’re the reason she’s Jinx. You abandoned her.”

“Here’s to the new us.”

Silco dies in her arms, whispering, “I never would have given you to them. Not for anything.”
