He and Vi lead a raid on a Shimmer factory. The raid is a success, but Vi is forced to spare Sevika when Jayce accidentally kills a Zaunite child in the chaos.
“I thought… maybe you could love me like you used to,” Jinx says. “Even though I’m… different. But you changed too.”
Vi learns of the deal and is furious. She leaves Caitlyn, sneaks back to Zaun, and confronts Silco in his office. She nearly kills him, but Sevika stops her. Vi is captured and brought before Silco. Silco mocks her: “You think you can save her? You’re the reason she’s Jinx. You abandoned her.”

Silco dies in her arms, whispering, “I never would have given you to them. Not for anything.”
