The short answer is — Excel does not come free with Windows 11. Windows 11 includes basic apps like Notepad, Paint, and the new Clipchamp video editor, but not Excel, Word, or PowerPoint. Those are part of Microsoft 365 (formerly Office), which requires a separate purchase or subscription.
