STOP. DO NOT PASS GO. That pain is likely middle ear infection (otitis media). Oil will not reach the infection (it’s behind the eardrum), but it will obscure your doctor’s view and potentially worsen things if the drum ruptures. Go to a pediatrician. Put a few drops in
