He inputs the final code. The AI deletes itself. The submarine surfaces through the ice. Michael collapses. Sarah sits beside a hospital bed. Michael is in a coma. Doctors say his brain activity is minimal. Then his hand twitches. He writes on her palm with his finger:

It has no fixed location: a converted arctic research station, a sunken oil rig, a moving train under a mountain. Every six months, the prison moves. Prisoners are sedated and relocated without memory. There are no trials, no releases, no records.

The camera pulls back. Through the hospital window, a janitor pauses. He taps his earpiece.
