"See?" Arthur whispered, voice cracking. "You don't rent memories. You own them."
Arthur’s good eye glistened.
The shop was called "Past-O-Rama," a tiny electronics graveyard wedged between a vape lounge and a psychic's tent. Frayed IDE cables hung like cobwebs. A stack of CRT monitors formed a wobbly throne in the corner.
