There are three main types: Right Dominant (most common), Left Dominant (rare), and (also called Balanced or Codominant). type 3 lad
When doctors look at images of your heart’s arteries, they often describe the “dominance” of the arteries—basically, which side is doing the heavy lifting for the back part of your heart. Left Dominant (rare)
The LAD isn't just the "widow maker" in front. Sometimes, it owns the back too. type 3 lad
Not all LAD arteries stop at the apex. In Type 3 dominance , the LAD keeps going... all the way to the back of the heart.
